IRRI-9 (C-9)

IRRI-9 Long Grain Rice is yet additional type of intermediate long grain Non-Basmati Rice manufactured in Pakistan. IRRI-9 Long Grain Rice is very famous especially in the African countries, Vietnam, Thailand and Bangladeshi markets. IRRI has two main diversities which are IRRI-9 and IRRI-6. IRRI-9 has an extended grain size then IRRI-6. However, IRRI-6 has a broader width then IRRI-9. IRRI rice is generally grown-up in the province of Sindh, Pakistan and Southern Punjab, Pakistan.

The temperature in of Sindh (24.52° C to 50.03° C) makes IRRI the impeccable place to grow. Main districts where IRRI is grown-up are Dadu, Nawabshah, Larkana, Sukkar and Jacobabad.
